We inspire our audiences to have seriously informal experiences at all our London events; to enjoy incredible, classical performances without the formality and restrictions of traditional classical concerts.

In Spring 2020, City of London Sinfonia joins forces with four incredible musicians – conductor Robert Ames, director David Greilsammer, pianist Robert Levin and violinist Terje Tønnesen – for Worlds Colliding. Over four programmes, we explore what happened when classical music met the jazz culture of the Parisian ‘Crazy Years’, the New York of Philip Glass and Steve Reich, and Mozart and Vivaldi as the Rock ‘n’ Roll stars of their day. At the Queen Elizabeth Hall and Wilton’s Music Hall, we bring these evocative worlds – the sounds, look and feel of these incredible times in music – to life.
