Get closer to the music

Thank you for your interest in getting more involved with CLS and helping us to bring new work to life. If you would like any more information on either of the below circles, please do not hesitate to contact Emily and Ellen at development[at]cls.co.uk.

Become a member of the

Hickox Circle

The Hickox Circle, named for our founder Richard Hickox, is our group of music-loving supporters who are deeply engaged in the work of City of London Sinfonia, enabling us to commission new work, deliver our concerts, and bring our incredible musicians into the community.

Get closer to the life of an orchestra and see the process of new work as it develops from an initial idea to the first performance – with access to rehearsals and exclusive insights from the creative team throughout the process.

Please contact us at development[at]cls.co.uk about getting involved.

If your interest is in supporting our participation work specifically, we are happy to work with you to find a suitable programme of involvement, please contact us to discuss options.

Join the

1971 Ensemble

The 1971 ensemble is a group of major supporters who make transformational philanthropic gifts to CLS, allowing us to take risks and create bold new programming.

Named after the year of our founding, the Ensemble embodies our ethos of honoring the legacy of our founder, Richard Hickox, while looking to the future of classical music.

Please contact us at development[at]cls.co.uk if you would like to find out more.
