As City of London Sinfonia’s (CLS) reputation for immersive and imaginative audience experiences continues to grow, we are recruiting for a Development Manager (Trusts) – a new role focusing on developing our relationships with trusts, foundations and statutory funders in this exciting time for the Orchestra.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Development Manager (Trusts) will play a vital role in growing our recent artistic success, which has in turn grown audiences and increased fundraising capability. Whilst maintaining our current relationships with trusts and the recent success with Arts Council England project funding, we are looking to expand our family of funders by developing and leveraging our innovative artistic and participation programmes; to establish new relationships with major cultural foundations.

This position is offered as a full-time or part-time permanent basis, paying between £30,000 and £35,000 per annum. CLS’s office is based in Bermondsey and gives the option of flexible working.

Candidates will have demonstrable track records of success in applying for funding from trusts and foundations at a five-figure level. While an in-depth knowledge of classical music is not a requirement, a passion for music in innovative, participatory and socially beneficial models is a must.
