City of London Sinfonia is delighted to welcome David Shriver to its Board of Trustees.
David joins CLS at an exciting moment, as the organisation continues to explore new ways of bringing music into people’s lives, through collaboration, storytelling, and work that connects more deeply with the world around us.
With a background spanning global communications, business, and the arts, David brings a perspective shaped by both international leadership and a long-standing commitment to cultural organisations. He is currently a Senior Advisor at Kekst CNC and was previously Director of Communications and Chief Reputation Officer at Ocado Group, as well as Managing Partner at Tulchan Communications.
Alongside this, David has served on the board of a number of arts organisations including Polka Theatre, Wimbledon BookFest, and Creative Folkestone, reflecting a deep interest in how culture can engage and inspire different communities.
David Shriver:
I am a passionate believer in the transformative impact music can have on individual lives and on our collective journey as a society. I am inspired by the outstanding, highly collaborative, and ground-breaking work that the City of London Sinfonia is doing, and I look forward to playing my part as the organisation fulfils its ambition to push the boundaries of what music can do.
CLS Chair John Singer:
We’re really pleased to welcome David to CLS. His experience, insight, and belief in the power of music to connect people and ideas come at an important time for us, as we continue to shape what the future of this organisation can be.
