7 Crafty Garden Activities for Kids

Posted on: June 9, 2016 in: Uncategorised

We’re getting in the mood for our Secrets of the Garden family concert next week! Whether it’s paper plate bugs or spider headbands there’s loads of fun crafts to bring the creepy crawlie world of the undergrowth to life…

Paper plate bugs from Vintage Umbrella

Make ladybirds, spiders and bees – simple and a chance to get really creative!

2 Spider finger puppets from Lalymom

A great way to make a toy that lasts long after craft time is over.

3 Paper plate garden from Happy Hooligans

We love this one because it’s so messy, creative and fun!

4 Egg carton daffodils from Mr Printables

Egg cartons are a gift for crafting – and can be transformed into beautiful flowers.

5 Buzzy bee headbands from The Little Crafty Bugs Company

Another one that is fun to play with long after, these headbands are fab!

6 Clothespeg dragonflies from Crafty Morning

Googley eyes, pipe cleaners and clothes pegs – this one’s great as you can use these for all sorts of things later on, from decorating the garden to a cheeky bookmark!

7 Tissue paper ladybirds from I Heart Crafty Things

A great way to use up any scrap tissue paper!

We’ll be running crafts and activities before our concert on 18 June – definitely feeling really inspired now!
